Photo Caption:

This undated image of the first South Fox Island Lighthouse, built in 1867, shows two keepers and the lighthouse dog in front of the lighthouse. The lighthouse was in use until 1934 when it was replaced by a tall skeletal tower in 1934. The structure shown here still stands and is in the process of being restored.
