This newspaper photo shows the 1934 “Storm Crew” from that fateful night. From left to right are head keeper William Hill, Fourth Assistant Hugo Hansen, substitute keeper Werner Storm, and first assistant Henry Jenkins seated next to his constructed shortwave radio equipment.
