Photo Caption:

Cape Neddick Light Station in York, Maine is where Charles U. Gardner served as a relief lighthouse keeper in the early 1940s during the time that Eugene L. Coleman was the lighthouse keeper. The Cape Neddick Light Station is more commonly known as Nubble Light. The fog bell tower no longer stands, but the fog bell is on display at nearby Sohier Park.
