Photo Caption:

The model of the Fowey Rocks Lighthouse is shown here in 1915 in the Machine Shop of the General Lighthouse Depot on Staten Island, New York where it had been shipped to for repairs after having been on display at the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition. Among the places where we know for sure where the model of Florida’s Fowey Rocks Lighthouse was displayed are the 1883 International Fisheries Exhibition in London, England; the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair; the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia; the 1895 Atlanta Cotton States Exposition; the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition in Nashville; the 1907 Jamestown Exposition held in Norfolk, Virginia; and the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco, California.
