The museum has several exhibits that showcase Louisiana’s lighthouse history. Nelson Plaisance’s lighthouse models are displayed inside a circular space reminiscent of a lantern deck complete with dome astragals and a ventilator ball at the top. On the right of the entrance is a replica sitting room of the Tchefuncte River keeper’s dwelling based on a period photo.
