Located offshore on the Cayos de Ratones, the Jobos Harbor Light marked the west side of the main entrance into Jobos Harbor on the south coast of Puerto Rico. Its 40-foot-tall light was established in 1902 and could be seen for a distance of nine miles. If you look closely, you can see the USLHS tender Lilac (1892) off in the distance during an inspection visit. (National Archives)
