The Warspite that Walter White trained on from 1896 to 1897 was originally named the HMS Waterloo when it was built in 1833; then, it changed to the HMS Conqueror; and finally, it was renamed Warspite, when it was out of service and used at the Marine Training School in Greenhithe, London, England.
