The United States Coast Guard recently did some maintenance work at Southwest Ledge Lighthouse in New Haven, CT. The crew of the CGC Penobscot Bay out of Bayonne, NJ preformed the work. Last year this ship and her crew conducted lighthouse maintenance projects at Sankaty Head Lighthouse in Massachusetts. This summer one of their projects will be the painting of Lubec Channel Lighthouse in Lubec, Maine.
