The historic lighthouse at the entrance of the Black River channel in South Haven, Michigan received a fresh coat of paint in June 2023. The lighthouse is maintained by the Historical Association of South Haven (HASH) with support from the City of South Haven.

The lighthouse during its restoration efforts in ...

The lighthouse underwent a major restoration in 2017. The portholes were put back after the original ones had deteriorated. New portholes made a big difference in restoring the authentic, original look of the light. For more info on the lighthouse, you can visit southhavenlight.org
