A square protective wrap is shown here up and around the Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego, California as the Coast Guard does some type of restoration or maintenance work at the 70-foot tall tower. More commonly known as the New Point Loma Lighthouse, it was built in 1891 and automated in 1973. Its 3rd order Fresnel lens was removed in 2002. (Photo by Kraig Anderson.)
