Forty-five years ago, on November 8, 1975, students from the Florida’s Coral Gables Senior High School Interact Club cleaned up the beach by the Cape Florida Lighthouse, which is located within the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. We wonder where these people are today. We also wonder if any of them will see this photo in Lighthouse Digest or if any students of Coral Gables High School today even know anything about lighthouse history. We certainly hope they do.

This story appeared in the Jul/Aug 2020 edition of Lighthouse Digest Magazine. The print edition contains more stories than our internet edition, and each story generally contains more photographs - often many more - in the print edition.
