This past December 2nd, the Canadian government announced the designation of Brier Island Lighthouse, Grand Passage Lighthouse, and Peter Island Lighthouse, all in Nova Scotia, as heritage lighthouses under Canada’s Heritage Lighthouse Protection Act.
