Notes:
In 1942 this light station was shelled by a Japanese submarine off the coast. The first order lens from this lighthouse was presented in 2004 to the Sooke Region Historical Society to be displayed at the Sooke Region Museum in Sooke, BC.

Description of Tower: White, concrete tower with flying buttresses, red lantern.

Date Present Tower Built: 1908

Optics: First order Fresnel lens, replaced by modern optic.

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.
