Characteristic and Range: Two second white flash alternating with eight second eclipse.

Description of Tower: White, octagonal wooden tower.

This light is operational

Date Established: 1872

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Open To Public? Grounds only.

Directions:
From the town of Shippagan, take Highway 113 to Lamèque Island and take the first right after the bridge. After about 3 miles, in the village of Chiasson, turn right on Domitien Lane, an unpaved lane; drive slowly as the sandy roadway is pretty rough. The lighthouse is about a mile away.
