In 1946, the rear light became the front light, and the former front light was demolished. A new front tower was built in 1967.

This light is operational
1902: 23-foot white, square wooden tower on black pier. 1909: White, octagonal iron lantern, 11 feet tall, on a 16-foot concrete pier. 1946: White, circular 41-foot stone tower with a white, octagonal wooden lantern (former rear tower).
