Notes:
The Kerguelen Islands are located in the cold waters of the southern Indian Ocean, about 1250 miles from Antarctica. Together with the Crozet Islands, St. Paul, and Amsterdam Islands, and Terre Adélie (on the Antarctic continent itself), they form the southern group of the Terres Australes et Antarctiques Françaises, a French overseas territory.

Height of Focal Plane: 160

Characteristic and Range: Three white flashes every 12 seconds, visible for 11 nautical miles.
