Flowerport Island is part of Fathom Five National Park. The original lighthouse at this site was torn down in 1969, but the original dwelling still stands. Friends of Fathom Five have informally considered replicating the original lighthouse.

A visitor to this site writes: Friends of Fathom Five volunteers staff the original dwelling every summer and attempt to give visitors a peek at how life at the station was lived on a daily basis. The island itself is very beautiful, with wonderful trails and mysterious caves that everyone can enjoy. Don't miss it if you're in the area.
