This light serves as the front light for the Sembilangan Lighthouse, located 4.5 miles south. The range, which includes a middle light at Tanjung Piring (a skeleton tower), marks the northern approaches to the port city of Surabaya. Tower Height: 46 Height of Focal Plane: 49 Characteristic and Range: White flash every 3 seconds; range 11 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White square concrete tower with red bands, on a platform.
