This lighthouse was altered and shortened after being damaged in a 1908 earthquake. Tower Height: 121 Height of Focal Plane: 121 Characteristic and Range: Two green flashes every 10 seconds; range 19 nautical miles. (Also red light w/focal plane of 72 feet, 2.5 seconds on, 2.5 seconds off. Description of Tower: Octagonal masonry tower (on dwelling) with black and white bands; lantern dome is gray.
