The “Airchime” fog horn, manufactured in Vancouver, BC replaced the diaphone as the fog horn of choice in Canada in the 1960s. It was soon superseded by electronic horns. This horn was last used at the Wood Islands Lightstation in Prince Edward Island. Back to the edition of: November 2003
