A New Exhibit Expands the Stories at Split Rock Lighthouse

Split Rock Lighthouse provided a short-lived but crucial aid to navigation on Lake Superior’s North Shore. Active for just 59 years, the station is now a historic site managed by the Minnesota Historical Society. A new exhibit opened at the Split Rock Lighthouse Visitor Center in May 2023.
