The new lens at Crisp Point Lighthouse in ...

Thanks to the efforts of dedicated volunteers and donors, Michigan’s Crisp Point Lighthouse again has a beacon in the tower. The nearly three-foot tall ML-300 lens was installed this past November. Starting this year, and every subsequent year, it will be lighted during the shipping season from May 1 to November 1.

Located on Lake Superior, 14 miles west of Whitefish Point near Paradise, Michigan, the 1904 lighthouse was once on the Lighthouse Digest Doomsday List of Endangered Lighthouses.
