Chloe’s 100th Lighthouse 10-year-old Chloe with Lisa and Chris Ammons holding her 100 numbered poster cards showing that she had now visited an amazing 100 lighthouses. The family is shown by Wisconsin’s Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse this past August 14th. Chloe is part of the next generation of lighthouse preservationists.
Distinguished Keeper This distinguished looking man in a lighthouse keeper’s uniform is Ronald Gilmore, who was a caretaker at Michigan’s Point Iroquois Lighthouse from 2013 to 2016. In 2015 the U.S. Forest Service, which owns the Point Iroquois Lighthouse, honored him and his wife Karen as Volunteers of the Year.
