Notes:
The first recorded lights here - one on each pier in the harbor - were erected in 1793. An outer pier was built in 1816 to protect the harbor, and a lighthouse was built on it the following year. That lighthouse was replaced by the current one in 1853. Description of Tower: Square stone tower attached to stone building.
