Notes: This lighthouse, built on a hill about a mile inland, marks the east coast of Corsica between Bastia and Solenzara. The tower suffered some damage during World War II (1943) but was repaired in 1945. Tower Height: 89 Height of Focal Plane: 305 Characteristic and Range: Two white flashes every 10 seconds; range 22 nautical miles. Description of Tower: Grey octagonal masonry tower with a black lantern and gallwery, attached to a rectangular brick dwelling.
